We've all spent today honoring our dads, which we should have, obviously. But I'd be remiss to not join the rest of the Internet in paying tribute to maybe the greatest rapper to ever live, the one they called 'Pac, who would've been 42 today. Tupac died way too young. But he left every rap fan with such an extraordinary body of work—All Eyez on Me, The 7 Day Theory, even his acting in Juice—that you'll be left dumbfounded when you find out he lived only 25 years. (Jay-Z is a year older than he was.) And it's a modern-day testament to his legacy that a white kid from a small town in the South would grow up blasting his CDs, despite being six years old when he died. I definitely wasn't alone.
Anyway, enjoy "California Love."
