Gotye's global smash hit, "Somebody That I Used to Know" premiered in July 2011 and was an automatic success in Australia before going number 1 in more than a dozen countries. It's been a viral hit and has over 213 million views on YouTube, making it one of the most-viewed videos ever.

Because of it's widespread popularity the beloved song has been covered by everyone from little kids, to a whole bunch of people on one guitar, to a guy playing glasses filled with water. Finally some real singers have stepped up to cover the gigantic hit song. 

Remember the band Fun. and their song, "We Are Young?" They were holding down the number 1 spot on iTunes, before the Gotye's smash hit replaced them. There are no hard feelings though, as evident of Fun. and Hayley Williams of Paramore beautifully covering "Somebody That I Used To Know" for BBC Radio One.
