I'm sorry, guys. We're legally obligated, as a working website on the Internet, to write at least one late December post that says, "Frank Ocean had one of the biggest years in music." We're also obligated to mention in an Ocean post the words, "Channel Orange," "Tumblr," "brave," and "headband." I apologize that we have to repeat these unoriginal thoughts. Just got to keep the lawyers off our asses.

Now, with that out of the way, here's a new slow jam Ocean did for "Django Unchained" that doesn't quite reach the heights of some of the work he released this year ("Pyramids," "Bad Religion," "Sweet Life"), but is still definitely worth a listen if you happen to be a fan. Spoiler alert: This song ultimately doesn't make the final cut for the movie, although Quentin Tarantino said it wasn't for a lack of quality. "The song is fantastic, and when Frank decides to unleash it on the public, they'll realize it then," he said.

(What did make the cut? This fucking JAM by Rozay:

I want this song playing every time I enter a room for at least the next six months.)
