Over 110,000 people descended upon Randall's Island Park for Electric Zoo (check our pictures) last weekend and if you weren't one of them, you missed out on the best electronic dance music festival all summer long. As I struggle to collect my brain and dignity back from the incredible weekend, I'll try and briefly cover some of the highlights and takeaways. This weeks tracks include two new free EP's from Griz and Archenemesis. Both have that electro-soul dub feel and are solid from top to bottom.
We're also giving away a pair of tickets to Glowfest: WVU featuring Porter Robinson & Zedd (back-to-back), Krewella, Bingo Players and Paper Diamond.
A few Electric Zoo 2012 Highlights
- No one runs a festival as well as Made Event
- Holy sh*t concerts in 3D are crazy and A-Trak's set killed it
- Krewella is the real deal and should have been on the Hilltop Stage
- More hot rave girls in New York City than anywhere else (pictures)
- Pretty Lights / Above & Beyond / Skrillex all killed the main stage
- EZoo has a diverse lineup and you're able to see almost everyone
- Trap music sends the crowd into an absolutely frenzy especially this track
