We have quite a fond, storied past when it comes to Pretty Lights here at BroBible, especially when it comes to summer music. Back in June 2010, Pretty Lights headlined our first sold out show at Terminal 5 here in New York City. As you can see, it was one hell of an awesome night. Three years later, Derek Vincent Smith is bigger than ever and ready to drop his his new full-length Pretty Lights album, A Color Map of the Sun. In typical Pretty Lights style, the new album will be available for download at NO COST on the day of release, July 2. BUT, it will also be available to the masses a double disco CD and as a vinyl. Pretty Lights has released so much free music over the years, you might as well at least pick up the vinyl product to give some late night spins on the record player. Chicks dig record players.
Plenty more info about the project on his website. Meanwhile, a full stream of A Color Map of the Sun has finally hit the web. Take a listen below. Is this Pretty Lights greatest work to date?
