Celebrating their 30th anniversary, the jam band pioneers Phish just did a three-day weekend run at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Like an extraterrestrial spaceship on the side of I-64, The Coliseum -- a.k.a The Mothership -- is a beloved arena venue for many live music fans, going back to the years the Grateful Dead made frequent stops there.
Anyway, Phish fans -- who don't exactly have the greatest reputation in the Hampton Roads area from a 2009 reunion stint -- were greeted via YouTube with open arms by Sgt. Jason Price of the Hampton Police Department. He filmed this quirky YouTube video praising Phish fans behavior. In fact, it sounds like he flat out enjoyed the hell out of the experience.
Cops and Phish fans, existing in perfect harmony. Cats and dogs living together. What a beautiful, peaceful world. Stay heady, Sgt. Jason Price.
