Pearl Jam shook Wrigley Field on Friday night with a 34-song set list, a 2-hour rain delay and a few unexpected presents for the crowd. Ernie Banks coming on stage and singing All the Way, a Chicago Cubs tribute, with Eddie Vedder was one of those presents. They also broke out two more new songs from their forthcoming album "Lightning Bolt." Honestly, I'm not sure what to make of these new tunes yet. I have a week-long boner for their first single off the album, Mind Your Manners, and Future Days sounds decent (it's more Eddie than it is Pearl Jam), but the title song off the album doesn't really do much for me. Here's to hoping it's a slow burn. Videos from the concert are below.
