Anyone else watch this entire concert and then hate themselves for it afterward? Hurricane Sandy may have negatively affected millions, and I'm thrilled this concert raised a ton of money for those in need, but we better get another relief concert for having to endure the natural disaster that is a topless Roger Daltrey. God that was unsightly. Speaking of things that we didn't need to see, you give Chris Martin three songs but the Stones only get two? Also, why was this thing like 85% British? I get you're going to sell more tickets and get the higher income people to tune in with this lineup, and the show was O.K., but don't say Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder are going to be "performing" if they are only onstage for 5 minutes of the entire 6-hour show. And a Nirvana reunion? Oh, Christ. Is that what that was? There is nothing worse than a band playing a song no one has heard to close a show, I don't care what band it is.
Bonus! Eddie Vedder EDDIE VEDDERING the living shit out of "Comfortably Numb" with Roger Waters. What the hell was written on his hand? I don't know, but I'd like to think it said, "If you're hoping to see more of me tonight, you won't, so shut your TV off the moment I leave the stage because The Who isn't bringing me out, those fuckers, and Roger Daltrey has something you can't un-see up his sleeve."
