Rockie Fresh got his start a few years ago with one of the best named mixtapes in recent memory, "Rockie's Modern Life," and from there he found himself on a steady trajectory up, leading to a signing last year with Rick Ross's MMG label.

"Electric Highway" is the first mixtape on that imprint. Released yesterday, it continues Rockie's unusual blend of alternative rock and rip, and it's definitely a must-listen for any hardcore hip-hop heads out there. Rockie is going to be big really soon.
