Mac Miller's next studio album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off, is set for a June 18 release, and his first single has floating around for a little over a month now. The Flying Lotus number, "S.D.S.," has seemed to me a shining example of Miller's new-found creativity and weirdness—a willingness to experiment with different wordplay than the rote pop-rap of 2011. (I felt the same way about "Guild," and today's Diplo-produced "Goosebumps" is pointing to Watching Movies as being a must-download next month.) I still feel that way, but now I know that Miller has a pretty great sense of humor about the whole thing.
This verified Rap Genius translation of S.D.S. was spotted by the guys at R/Hiphopheads today. Miller had recently taken the time to decode a few of his lines. Look at what he says about, "If it's true, they should hit Alaska in an igloo."
