Like many New Yorkers, I go to great lengths to avoid taking the subway. But sometimes that's not quite possible if you, say, need to get Brooklyn for a Jay-Z concert. On Saturday night, rather than fighting traffic, Hova jumped on the N train and took it to Atlantic Yards before performing to a sold-out crowd. When MTA passengers realized they were in the presence of rap royalty, everyone naturally freaked the f*ck out. Says the Huffington Post: "Jay-Z entered the train station at Canal St around 6 P.M. and rode it all the way to Atlantic Avenue, where he performed his eighth and final show at the Barclays Center." Who needs a car when you're a business, man.

UPDATE: MediaTakeOut tells us Jay hasn't taken the subway in 10 years. He also doesn't know what a Metrocard is. If you have some leftover swipes, we'll take 'em, Jay. Also, video:
