"Bombs Over Baghdad's" breathless, mind-numbingly fast Andre 3000 intro—which seems to blaze even faster after "Then I might cast you a spell, look at what came in the mail," and was never, ever successfully completed when Stankonia came onto your CD player rotation—is made even better when you strip away the beat. We know this, because the invaluable Soundcloud "Isolated Vocals" released "B.O.B." sans instrumentals today, allowing us to fully appreciate one of Outkast's greatest speed-rap performances. It fucking rules. Big Boi (clearly) raps about his son "Bamboo." Andre asks if it's possible to not sweat in a silk suit. Plus, things get downright eeire once the "Bombs over Baghdad" chants close out the song.
Enjoy rap greatness.
