Hoodie Allen Started a Rap Beef War on Twitter with Mike Stud, Riff Raff, and G-Eazy

Get your popcorn ready, Bros! There’s a rap beef war brewing on Twitter between… Hoodie Allen and Mike Stud? SMH. It’s the most exciting frat-rap college scene beef war since Sammy Adams and Chris Webby started taking jabs at each other in diss tracks back in 2010. Ah, the glory days.

The feud started because of a couple bars in Hoodie Allen’s new track, “Nolan Ryan.” Hoodie threw punches at a couple of rappers on the scene, including Mike Stud, G-Eazy, and Riff Raff. Allow me to break it down:

Hoodie line, verse 1: Blame it on Tommy and cry to your mommy you never been fly – An obvious shot at Mike Stud, the Duke baseball player-turned-rapper who stopped playing ball after having Tommy John surgery.  In a circumstantial way, this launched Stud’s rap career.

Hoodie line, verse 1: Rappers pretending its all black and white / But I ain’t got time for that clean shit / Oh you’d rather be James Dean / I would rather be me bitch (I’m just being honest You don’t usually wear those big ass glasses / The internet’s forever – A shot at G-Eazy, who’s called himself “the James Dean of hip-hop.” Also… He wore big glasses.

Hoodie line, verse 2: You like riff and raff but that’s piss and trash – Pretty self-explanatory.

There are more shots fired in bars, but you can go read that at Rap Genius.

And then the theater came to Twitter. First up, Riff Raff, who was called out by name by Hoodie. When brought to his attention on Twitter, this caused Riff Raff to go off in true Riff Raff fashion:

He continued in a series of now deleted Tweets, captured by College Of Music:

And went on and on and on, as Riff Raff does:

Hoodie tried to shoot back by taking some sort of higher ground, but it’s Riff Raff. He’s not exactly the most rational person to deal with:

G-Eazy joined the fight, but stayed mad decent about the whole thing:

And then Mike Stud stepped into the ring

:

Hoodie commented in his own right:

Of course the bleacher creatures are going off about the spat:

And, well… That’s about all there is to it, for now. This is the officially the softest rap beer war in the history of rap beef wars. See you guys on the lacrosse field.
