Back in May, the hip-hop gods promised that we'd soon be head-bopping to rapping holograms of Ol' Dirty Bastard and Eazy-E. The news was far from a sure thing: Digital Domain Media, which was responsible for Coachella's famous Hologram Tupac, had recently gone bankrupt.
But "thanks to modern science," in the words of the RZA, Eazy and ODB did in fact perform this weekend. And it was terrific. Eazy looked a little better—Hologram Ol' Dirty Bastard is too damn small—but the crowd ate it up regardless.
