The message of this song is essentially that Drake worries most about taking care of his October's Very Own team—hence the disembodied owl that makes up the cover art—and it's interesting to see how the music video matches that message. Drake puffs blunts while walking with his crew through blue-lit strip clubs and indoor beach volleyball courts. Hip-hop vixens play in front of him. Yet he exits it all at the song's end with just his bros in tow.
This is kind of a recurrent theme in his videos, if you've ever noticed—Drake hardly ever leaves a club with a girl, or successfully picks up a girl. He's a big fan of the "walking around with friends and doing cool shit" genre of music video. Am I saying he's batting for the other team? Nah. The man has just invented bromance rap.
