I had to head down to TomorrowWorld in the Chattahoochee Hills of Georgia this past weekend. How could you pass up the U.S. debut of this Belgian-run festival with the stellar lineup and the warm weather that was on offer. I mean just look at who was down there performing: Benny Benassi, Fedde le Grande, Ferry Corsten, Laidback Luke, Porter Robinson, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, A-Trak, Afrojack, Alesso, AraabMuzik, Axwell, Calvin Harris, Gareth Emery, Nervo, Armin van Buren, David Guetta, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, and Sander van Doorn. A couple names like Avicii were missing, but that's as hard hitting a lineup as you could ask for.
After a couple days to digest what I experienced, I can tell you that it lived up to it's billing. It was a reasonably run event, although there were some small transportation and security delays. There were seven different stages to keep you busy. It was, however, more spread out than something like Coachella, with it taking almost 25 minutes to walk from one side of the festival space to the other. I can't talk about the tent experience because I like a bed and a nice shower after spending all day at a music festival. The shuttles from downtown Atlanta made that pretty easy. The attire was as you'd expect at a festival with many people decked out in full costume. Chicks were rocking their bikini tops in order to deal with the heat, so no one was complaining about that.
Here are my pictures from the festival. Hopefully it gives you a fair representation of the enjoyment I experienced.
