Even if you've never fallen prey to the New York/Tri-State Area MTA experience, I think its safe to say that most of us have been victimized by less than stellar public transportation practices at some point in our lives. The video above is the realest of real talk, and the greivances are taken to the next level with an incredible artistic flair.
Meet Monk, a member of the Concrete Justice theatre troupe, and a New Yorker who is pretty fed up with the MTA. In the below piece of "street poetry" he calls them out for "asinine laws" and "service not worth two shits and a dime, yet you expect me to pay $2.25 every time?" Enjoy, fellow straphangers!
