Hayk dropped a hell of a track a couple of weeks ago, and I can only apologize for not getting to it sooner, because this, this is powerful. This is music with a message, and it's exactly the type of track that any artist should be proud of. Big ups to Hayk for penning and making this track.
This remix of Maths Time Joy's track has been getting a lot of attention, and for good reason. The dreamy and trancy, yet grounded production style is remniscent of a lazy summer day, something I'm sure you guys know all about.
Good music isn't necessarily about being the best or most polished. Sometimes it's about growth and potential - things yet to come. This ballsy freestyle over Hov's "Holy Grail" is the first I've heard thus far, and in this case, the early bird certainly gets the worm. Splyt takes the track and makes it his own. If he stumbles a little bit in the first verse, I imagine it's only from the sheer nervousness of touching upon one of the biggest tracks of the year. However, all that said, it's good, potential or not.
AnxioJam's setlist reminds me of something you'd play on your road trip to nowhere. Their newest track, "872", contains their trademark vocals, perfectly married with bluesy guitar riffs and light percussion, all coming together to form a sound that would not be out of place in any good summer playlist.
Trey Palms is back to his old self, and we're happy to have him back. Last week he dropped a burnalicious track that's guaranteed to have your foot and ashing hand tapping. Check out the video:
