What’s hot this week in men’s fashion, gadgets, and gear

This weekly feature is a round-up, in conjunction with our friend Tim over at Cool Material, of the hot new products appearing online this week. From fashion tips to cool gadgets and gear, take a look at your new obsessions.

Nocs

Nocs Air Monitors with Airplay
The NS2 Air Monitors look and sound great. Each of the cabinets is built with rubber-coated MDF, and they’re available in seven different colors. On the internals side, there’s a 32-bit signal processor, 3/4″ silk dome tweeters and 3″ dual magnet Kevlar woofers. There’s even an NS2 Air Monitors app to help you setup the wifi, get firmware updates and rename the speakers so they’re more easily recognizable when you’re using the apps.

Hard Graft

Stylish Camera Straps from Hard Graft
Hard Graft has a new line of handmade camera straps made of premium vegetable tanned Italian leather, Italian wool felt and metal mounting hardware that look as good as the pictures you plan on taking on your adventures. Every one of the straps is as high quality as the camera you plan on attaching it to, but if we had to pick just one it would be the Re-Strap because it has a removable section so you can use it as a handgrip without having to wrap the excess strap around your hand.

Withings

The Fitness Tracker Watch
Unbreakable, scratch-proof sapphire glass. French calf leather strap in brown or black. Swiss-made everything. Analog, dual face with svelte hands and good color combinations. The second face of Activité functions as an analog representation of the daily objectives you set in the Health Mate App (number of steps, sleep time, etc.). It tracks everything with a built-in accelerometer that automatically switches between modes, and will even vibrate when you’ve completed an objective. Everything you manage on the watch itself (like checking your alarm clock) is done by double-tapping the glass.

Cool Material Shop

Colt 45 Casing Key Chain
Handmade in Chicago, each is crafted from solid polished copper and real .22lr bullet casings that were fired and tumbled. Each will look sharp right out of the box and develop a unique patina over time as yours takes on its own personal character. The bracelet is rigid and strong but also a bit flexible so you can take it on and off and not worry about it slipping from your wrist when you’re wearing it.

Nova

Wireless Flash
For as far as smartphone photography has advanced over the last couple of years, there’s still one area that needs work: Lighting. Nova is a wireless off camera flash that allows you to use light away from your phone to take better shots. The little wireless flash adds soft, natural light to your subjects so your photographs have richer color and and a more professional feel to them. Nova boasts 40 warm and cool LEDs and works with a free app for your phone.

Patchnride

Patchnride
Fixing a flat is such a nuisance that it’s often easier to just carry your bike home. patchnride is a clever little device that makes the process much simpler. For starters, you don’t need to even remove the wheel, you just find the hole with the included leak detector and insert the patchnride tool. It works with all bike tires that can get a flat–tubular and clincher–and you’ll be riding again in under a minute. No more greasy hands and no more sitting on the curb tinkering with your bike for half an hour.

Bison Designs

The Kool Tool Belt
The Kool Tool Belt from Bison Designs is diversifying its skill set to be a bit more useful. Besides keeping your pale legs hidden, the belt also features a couple of screwdrivers, three wire strippers, a bottle opener, a S.A.E. hex tool, and a standard and metric ruler. Better than carrying around a multi-tool, and more useful than your average belt.

Jaguar

The Jaguar F Type Project 7
Originally teased last year as simply an awesome little concept, the Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 is now a reality. With 567 horsepower, it will snag the title for fastest and most powerful production Jaguar ever. It’s the first performance vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Operations team and will be limited to a run of just 250. The tiny rocket is powered by a Jaguar 5.0-liter supercharged V8 and will take you from 0-60 in a skin-stretching 3.8 seconds. With clear nods to the design of the D-TYPE, the F-TYPE Project 7 is just as stunning as it is powerful.
