What’s hot this week in men’s fashion, gadgets, and gear

This weekly feature is a round-up, in conjunction with our friend Tim over at Cool Material, of the hot new products appearing online this week. From fashion tips to cool gadgets and gear, take a look at your new obsessions.

Marshall

Marshall iPhone 5 Amp Case
This case is going to be similar to the black, pebbled vinyl you’ll find on just about every other Marshall product, which is probably going to make it a pleasure to hold and/or use. There’s also the iconic Marshall logo in white, perfectly positioned above where your index fingers end up when you’re furiously texting with both hands. Does that kind of make you a walking advertisement for the brand? Yeah, but it’s Marshall. It will also look really good when connected to a pair of their matching headphones.

This is Ground

Modular iPad Mini Cases
The Mod starts as what looks like a simple leather folio for your iPad Mini. On the left, there are places for your business or transit cards, a charging cable, and a phone. On the right, a spot for your iPad Mini and another slot for a stylus. Everything zips closed, and there’s even a carrying handle. But the real magic is the interchangeable inserts that magnetically attach to the center of the Mod. There are 10 different inserts in total.

Nyan Nyan Factory

Wearable Bike Lock
The Safe At Home Bike Lock was created not only to function, but to look good while you were wearing it around. Each is handmade using an 8mm iron chain that is covered in weaved polypropylene that comes in a variety of color combos. Besides not having to deal with a hefty lock when you ride, you can drape one of these across your chest or around your waist and not worry that your bike lock makes you look like you’re wearing a workshop sash.

Wood Collar Stays
Nothing kills the appearance of a dress shirt like a curled up and mangled collar. Collar stays are your solution, and few are as sharp as these. Each set is handcrafted in the USA out of either ash or walnut. Because of the wood and the process, no two stays are identical.

Hurdler Studios

Clug’s World’s Smallest Bike Rack
Clug is a colorful clip, smaller than a kiwi, that attaches to, well, whatever, with just two screws. Clip in your bike while it’s still horizontal. Stand it up on the back tire and clip in the front tire. Put it on your walls, a tree, the bed of your truck, wherever. If there’s space for your bike, there’s space for Clug.

New Balance

J Crew X New Balance Independence 998
Celebrating American craftsmanship, the 998 Independence Day sneakers come clad in red, white, and blue, and will be pre-launched at three stores on June 14 where the first 20 customers will also receive an Ebbets Field Flannels cap. If you aren’t trying to make a trip to NYC, LA, or Hong Kong, they will be available on J.Crew’s site starting June 18.

Grovemade

Walnut Desk Accessories
Grovemade’s Walnut Desk Collection will stylize your desk. Here’s what’s in it: an ergonomic monitor stand with storage for your keyboard/laptop/etc., a tray designed for an Apple keyboard that also gives you storage space, a mouse pad with room for a pen, a wrist rest, pen cup, ruler, paperclip holder, desk lamp and two different planters. Each piece is made of black walnut and produced to Grovemade’s exacting standards.

Nike

Nike Internationalist Sneakers
Packed with stunning architecture and renowned pieces of art, Milan is a visual feast best accompanied by a few glasses of red wine. Somehow Nike was able to take the beauty of the Italian city and inject it into their latest pair of sneakers. The classic Internationalist runners get inspired by the many bronze church pieces and the stone that’s laced throughout the city. The latest member of the City Pack, each pair is outlined with red accents and a commemorative tongue logo. You can pick up a pair from End. or from other select Nike retailers.
