What’s hot this week in men’s fashion, gadgets, and gear

This weekly feature is a round-up, in conjunction with our friend Tim over at Cool Material, of the hot new products appearing online this week. From fashion tips to cool gadgets and gear, take a look at your new obsessions.

Motorola

Moto Stream Wireless Speaker
Motorola’s new Moto Stream is basically a wired dongle, in the shape of an icosahedron, that you connect to any 3.5mm or RCA speakers to make them bluetooth compatible. Connect the Micro USB power source. Connect the 3.4mm or RCA cable to your speakers, receiver, etc. Then, connect your phone, tablet or computer with Bluetooth or NFC, and stream your music. Hell, it works with up to five devices, so connect your phone, table and computer. There are also five indicator lights and a “heist” mode if your friends want to jump in and switch the track because you’ve played Phil Collins one too many times.

Adidas

Adidas Customizable Sneakers
Have you ever dreamed of owning sneakers decked out with hamburgers? What about beaches, forests and sunsets? What about putting pictures of runners on your running shoes? With adidas new Photo Print App, launching in August on iOS and Android, you can get just about anything printed on a brand new pair of adidas ZX Flux kicks. In theory, if you can take a picture of it, you can print it, but the miadidas platform doesn’t list many more details of that.

Big Ass Fan

Haiku Smart Ceiling Fan
The latest piece of smart tech we’ve come across is this Haiku fan with SenseME Technology. Besides looking great, the fan knows when you enter or leave a room so it can turn on or off automatically, it can sense the temperature and humidity to adjust to changing conditions, and it can learn about your preferences to provide the ideal environment at all times. Use the app to set schedules and customize any series of fan, light, and sound combinations, and even set alarms so the fan slowly turns the lights and blades on to wake you gently.

Cool Material Shop

Fire Hose Toiletry Bag
Each of these dopp kits was handcrafted out of recycled fire hose from around a firehouse. Forget your standard canvas or nylon, fire hose is made from two layers of woven synthetic canvas that’s sandwiched inside a waterproof jacket. It’s designed to stand up to all the dragging, pulling, and hauling during its lifetime. Now, instead of the material going into a landfill after it was used to fight fires, it’s been repurposed into these solid kits that will stand up to any beating you could possibly throw their way.

Booyah Belt

Booyah Belt
With the Booyah Belt, simply slide the stainless steel buckle off and you can leave the rest of the belt on. You can also pick up extra belts in different colors for just $10 each so you can put the buckle on whichever you are wearing that day. It won’t help get your toiletries in a plastic bag, but it will make security a touch quicker.

Il Bisonte

Il Bisonte Multi-Key Ring
One large 1 3/4″ thick brass ring, attached to three 2″ screw clasps with premium Il Bisonte cowhide straps in black, natural, cognac, dark brown or red. The entire thing is put together by the master leather artisans of Il Bisonte, which means it’s just going to look better with age. The only tough decision is trying to figure out what color leather you want.

Beats

New Redesigned Beats
The Solo2 headphones feature improved acoustics with a wider range of sound and enhanced clarity, and a new sleeker look that makes them more compact than their predecessor. The Solo2 headphones also put comfort at a premium with a new curvature of the frame and angled earcups that dissipate heat but still keep your audio from leaking out. They’re available in a range of colors and feature a RemoteTalk cable which lets you change tracks and adjust the volume without pulling out your phone.

Nike

Nike’s First 3D Printed Duffel Bag
Give it a few years, and 3D printing will be invading every aspect of your life. Until then, you’ll have to wait for companies to release a few products at a time that you can snatch up. Nike’s Rebebto duffel won’t be carrying around your gym gear anytime soon, but for the few select soccer players getting one before this year’s World Cup, it is a pretty sweet gym bag. The bag features a 3D-printed base that’s lightweight and supportive that’s been mixed with premium leather on top.
