Let’s this be a lesson to all food chains — don’t entice people with offers of free drinks.

Meet Andrew — a Starbucks fan and Gold member of Starbucks’ loyalty program. With great rewards deals come great offers of free stuff. Gold member status entitles Andrew to one free drink after every twelve drinks he drops down money for. He’s allowed any drink available.

Any. Drink. Available. So, Andrew made up his own, and brought his own 128-ounce glass. Andrew set his caffeine goggles on the previous record of the most expensive Starbucks drink ever made by ordering this Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino.

Normal retail price for this beast would be $54.75. Andrew got it for free.

It’s the perfect drink to sip while the emergency room nurse asks “have you have any caffeine today?”
