Guess which state has sex the longest? Hint — probably not the one you’re living in

In case humans aren’t already dealing with performance anxiety issues, there’s a new app that will not only document pre-jack problems but serve as a reminder users aren’t having a ton of sex by sitting untouched on phone screens for months.

Spreadsheets is a handy new phone app with the ability to measure how long a person lasts in the sack. The app uses a phone’s accelerometer and speakers to provide statistical feedback about duration, thrusts, and decibel peak. It obviously rests in a holster around your naked body.

Alright, so which freaks in the crowd need to know how long they last in bed? Answer — pretty much every freak.

“Spreadsheets was created to approach sex in a way that is both light-hearted and improvement oriented,” says Danny Wax, Co-founder of the app. “We wanted to create an app that entices users to have some fun with their partner and share in that afterglow experience, while encouraging open dialog and feedback.”

In an effort to shame entire states, and not just individuals, Nerve crunched the data to figure out which states had sex the longest and which states are quick on the trigger. Even nicer of the Nerve folks to infographic all the data with pretty colors.

New Mexicans are banging for just over seven minutes. West Virginia is next with just over five minutes though they’d probably last longer if they just thought about their sisters…while… humping their sisters. In dead last is Alaska, but it’s dark there most of the year, so by the time they find the wet spots it’s time to go to bed.
