Liz Wahl is an anchor for Russia Today, a TV network funded by the Russian government. Today, Wahl dropped a bomb on the Kremlin quitting on air, saying she could no longer be “part of a network that whitewashes the actions of Putin.” Here’s the must-see video.
Wahl told The Daily Beast that her superiors repeatedly “censored her work, distorting the truth.” It appears to have escalated recently with the situation in Crimea. Wahl felt her integrity was compromised and thus, could no longer continue.
I applaud Wahl for her bravery.
