Just in case you couldn’t tell which people at the club have more money than you, Belvedere Vodka is introducing a new “Silver Saber” bottle that’s laser cut with LED technology to be sure you can spot them.
I miss the good old days when there were only booths, flocks of women, and giant sparklers separating the haves from the mes at a club. Now Belvedere is really rubbing it in with these new LED bottles that, to be honest, are really f’ing cool. They stay illuminated for 8 hours, but be warned, if you you take that long to go through booze you’re probably going to lose your table. They frown upon not drinking in the VIP section.
The Silver Saber is a brilliant ploy by the folks at Belvedere. Given the option for a light up bottle versus a normal one, people are definitely picking the lights every time. People might not care about the differences in taste of Goose, Stoli, and Belvedere while they’re at the club, but they damn sure care about being seen.
You might spot one depending on where you’re partying this NYE, but the 1.75L bottles will be nationwide in February. Better start saving your nickels or making better friends.
