Our long national nightmare is over. Thanks in part to a petition signed by over 12,000 people, the White House has finally released the official recipe for its home-brewed honey ale beer. Now, you can drink the beer of presidents.

But here's why it's a big deal for beer snobs: When President Obama bought a home brewing kit for the White House kitchen last year, his presidency became the first ever to brew beer on the grounds. (George Washington and Thomas Jefferson brewed beer and made wine, respectively, but at their private homes.)

Undoubtedly, going to these lengths to give the White House its first home-brewed is a Bro move. But we're more than skeptical of the honey flavoring.
