I clicked on this yesterday, thinking I'd watch for a few minutes and then fast-forward to the end to watch the space jump for the 263rd time. An hour and a half later, it was dark outside and I realized I may have been sucked into the story.
There's a lot to like in this: It's inspirational, it shows that there truly was a tremendous amount of risk involved, and, interestingly, it doesn't totally lionize Felix Baumgartner. In fact, he comes across as a dick during a good portion of it. Which I liked, because, let's get real—anyone who does something like this is probably a little off in the head.
