East Coast-West Coast rap battles have subsided, however a new hip hop feud is brewing between a NYC rapper and a Moscow entrepreneur turned MC.
New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov is a presidential candidate in his home country of mother Russia, however he's not doing spectacular in the ratings, with only 5% in polls by a state-run agency. So there's only one thing to do, start a rap battle to get more exposure, and what better way to gain attention than attack arguably the biggest rapper on the planet, Jay-Z. I would guess this is the best and only rap battle between two NBA owners. Prokhorov appeared on “Projector Paris Hilton,” a comedy show on state television and dropped some rhymes, and when I say he dropped them, I mean they fell to the floor and smashed into a million awful sounding pieces.
