Roller Coaster Tycoon was all the rage back in the day. If you didn't spend hours on end building those queue lines, burger joints, and twisted coasters, chances are you sat around bored as sh*t while your friend remained glued to that comp.
The game, likely unintentionally, was also a remarkable excercise in sadism. I'm pretty sure everyone, at some point or another, decided to play God and virtually murder parkgoers the most spectacular fashions possible. I personally, always built up a huge theme park in that level that had the huge lake in the center, then all at once deleted everything so that hundreds of people would drown at once. Harmless muwhaha, but boy is that game kind of f*cked up.
Anyhow, filmmaker Andrew McMurray decided to re-enact the RC Tycoon process through this hilarious YouTube video, which uses some pretty cool visual editing techniques to show the physical manifestations of what otherwised only occured through a few clicks of the mouse. To drive the dopeness home, the theme music will give you flashes of being in 4th grade and having nothing to do on a three day weekend.
