I ventured out from my parents’ basement to take in the New York Yankees-Detroit Tigers game on Friday night. I sat in Section 329. And I’m glad I did, because it gave me a damn good seat for this chick fight.

The classy ladies near the top of the section didn’t appreciate a young woman’s decision to wear a Boston Red Sox hat to the game. The refined Sox fan didn’t appreciate being heckled all game. Tensions boiled over and the war of words became physical.

Miss Boston ended up taking a nasty fall about four-rows-long and smashed her head into a metal railing. Even that wasn’t enough to stymy her fury, as she got up for more.

This is why stadiums need to have tranquilizer darts on hand.
