An incident at Philadelphia’s Puerto Rican Day Parade over the weekend is blowing up the Internet this morning – and for good reason.

An attendee filmed a disturbing sequence in which a woman sprays police with some sort of liquid and then is summarily punched in the face by an officer in a white shirt.

The woman is then led away in handcuffs, bleeding from the mouth.

Doesn’t exactly seem like proper protocol, but hey, what do I know?
