Is this "bro"? Nah. Probably not. It's still worth sharing. Phillip Mendonça-Vieira writes, "Due to an errant cron task that ran twice an hour from September 2010 to July 2011, I accidentally collected about 12,000 screenshots of the front page of the nytimes.com." The time-lapse shows all sorts of events you might recall from the last year, including sporting events, the Chilean miners (0:39);  Arab Spring (3:38), the Japanese Tsunami (4:54)  a newspaper's front page remains important online in this fast-paced, real-time news environment. The sequence ends on March 2010, 2011, so it doesn't get to the Navy SEALs attack on Osama Bin Ladden's Pakistan compound. Despite all the clamoring about "the death of print," it's amazing how a newspaper's front page still retains the same importance it's always had in a fast-paced, real-time online news environment.
