The Taiwanese animation of American sports scandals are always noticeably light on facts, but the interpretation of the Metta World Peace elbow may be the most outrageous yet. If you believe it, World Peace has had his ass lit on fire multiple times during his NBA career and the Malice at the Palace was begat by a Molotov cocktail. The brawl also apparently featured ax-wielding children and left dozens dead.

While these things are wildly entertaining, I can’t help but wonder how much of the information trickles down, as fact, to the Taiwanese people. Their perception of American sports must be extremely unflattering.
