Seventeen years ago, the internet was a much simpler place. Kids used it to chat on instant messenger and adults used it to, well, look at porn. It’s hard to believe, but they actually had to convince people that the worldwide web was a worthwhile place to check out.

Here are some kids forecasting, with startling accuracy, the increased importance the online world would take on in upcoming years.
