Kevin Rose co-founded Digg, works as a partner in Google's venture capitalist firm, and is worth $8 million. The coolest thing he's ever done, though—possibly making up for that infamous BusinessWeek cover—came early on Friday morning, when Rose found his dog Toaster being attacked by a raccoon. Security camera footage shows the tech guy running to the scene, grabbing the possibly rabid creature, and hilariously flinging it down a flight of stairs. “I do not encourage animal violence," Rose wrote in the video's description. "I wanted to get the wild animal as far away from us as possible.” He says nothing about how he managed to make a raccoon spin like a flying saucer.
Animal rights activists—who chastised President Obama and Governor Chris Christie for killing bugs—will probably have something to say about Rose's decision. To which we respond: Please, put a raccoon on your face.
Also, can someone loop this with the Wilhem Scream?
