There's an undeniably depressing message surrounding this advertisement, which currently sits beside a Spanish thoroughfare. Still, what you're looking at is one of the most genius ads I've ever seen: It's A public service announcement that displays two different messages depending on whether a child or parent is looking at it. Using a technique called lenticular printing, the billboard (designed by ANAR Foundation and Grey Group Spain) displays a secret message to anyone standing below 4-foot-4—saying, "If somebody hurts you, phone us and we'll help you," along with the foundation's phone number. For adults, the message is switched to "Sometimes child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it." And the kid is unbruised. Devestating.
Yes, I know what you're thinking. And yes, I agree. Midgets are going to be really confused when they walk by.
