David Windestål tied an RC plane to a balloon, sent it all the way up into Felix Baumgartner's domain, then released the plane from the string, allowing it be smoothly piloted back to Earth. Along the way, Windestål got a first-person-view of our planet's curve as the remote-controlled plane made its way down thousands of feet. And, while he definitely doesn't stick the landing—the plane lands nose-first in a tree—he is left with some amazing footage.
Actually, this is honestly one of the coolest, most hypnotic videos I've seen in a while. Consider it a perfect night-capper.
