I'm very sad about this news, even if everyone who watched the video yesterday saw it coming: A.J. Clemente, whose first-ever words on air as a Bismark, North Dakota news anchor were "fucking shit," was fired today by NBC affiliate KFYR. Clemente's mistake really hit home because A. Everyone has said something stupid before, and B. Our accidental profanities don't normally come in front of thousands of people.
Clemente seems to have handled it all pretty well.
That couldn't have gone any worse!— A.J. Clemente (@ClementeAJ) April 21, 2013

Chin up, dude. You're famous outside of Bismark now, and I'd be surprised if someone out there doesn't want to give you a second chance. Also, anyone who actually cares about cursing on air is a fucking shithead.
