Comedian Josh Sankey is going coast-to-coast (Sade style) paying for his trip with nothing but 3,000lb of BACON. This Bacon Barter trip, it seems, is not for a good cause of any sort, other than Josh Sankey's own career exposure. But hey, charity starts at home and sh*t. 

Sankey's goal is to make it to Los Angeles by September 23rd and along the way prove that people in America love bacon. (Probably could have just called Oscar Meyer for some statistical analysis rather than making this arduous trip, but that would make sense, not news.) As you can see on the map below, Sankey is currently still thousands of miles away from his target.
