Xi'an Up Close, a Chinese investigative news program, has aired, quite possibly, one of the funniest mix-ups in journalism history.

As part of a special report, the news broadcast delivered live video from a village that said it had discovered a strange and special plant, which really was a rubber vagina, possibly hidden by some farmer desperately trying to go along with the ruse.

At one point, the subtitle says "Above, it has something that looks like lips and the other side, it has a small hole that goes through to the other side." Clueless.
