The photobomb has gotten much attention on the internet, but the videobomb isn't as common. The videobomb takes more time and patience to pull off, however when it's done correctly it's glorious.

This video is called "Awkward Kristin" because during a live television broadcast Kristin Giannas accidentally walked into the video camera's view and things got very awkward. During the University of Florida’s WUFT TV News Kristin needed to get papers from the printer, but didn't realize that they had switched back from on-the-street footage to the live studio camera. She immediately realized that she was on live TV and absolutely froze. She then thought if she could stand still no one would notice a person standing creepily in the background. When the mannequin maneuver wasn't successful, she ducked behind the printer like she was a soldier taking on fire.

Kristin has a blog and she described the bizarre situation:

Make a long story short, in my zombie-state I left the edit bay and moseyed over to the printer to pick up some papers. I remember staring into a bright light.... and it took me a few seconds to realize that light was atop a camera feeding a newsroom live segment INTO OU NEWSCAST! Once this all clicked, I had seconds to make a decision and, being so quick and smooth on my feet, I decided it was a good idea to, elevator-style, drop it like its hot behind the printer.

I'm jealous that David can blame the dentist.
