Tough to break the originality plane on these sorts of things, but this one is definitely pretty outside the box. Youtuber Jeremiah JW scoured through millions and millions of tweets to compile "the story of 2012," capturing important world events, funny developments, and human accomplishments all in one take. The obligatory semi-inspirational "we did it!" sort of music adds a rather nice flair as well.
