About seven different unrelated people have sent this to me today, so I figured it was about time to check it out. It's called "Texts From Bennett," a made-up Tumblr blog about some fictitious teenage wankster named Bennett who sends hilarious text messages to his cousin. So who, exactly, is Bennett? Says the title: “17 year old who thinks he’s a Crip, works at Amoco, has a girlfriend named Mercedes, and is one of the most unintentionally funny and brilliant souls on the planet." The whole viral phenomenon is the brainchild of Mac Lethal, the nerdy white rapper who made that awesome pancake "Look at Me Now" video we featured yesterday. Although it's made-up (can't emphasize this enough), the exchanges are still pretty hilarious. Here are my favorite ones. Be sure to give the site some pageviews here.
