During last Wednesday's Presidential debate, Republican candidate Mitt Romney made it clear that if he's elected president, Big Bird may be in for some trouble. Romney's remark caused a social media explosion of sorts, with CNN reporting that after the the debate, Facebook mentions of Big Bird increased by a whopping 800,000%-- a number that sounds more like an overly righteous vegertarian nutjob estimated a Burger King calorie count than anything else.
