The future of Twinkies is in serious jeopardy. What would the world look like without them?

Just as refresher--Hostess declared bankruptcy, and everyone was sad. Then, it was announced that Hostess and its largest union will go into mediation, thus preserving the company, at least temporarily. What comes out of this will obviously be crucial to everyone's daily life, but for now here's some filler to keep your mind off of possible Twinkie extinction.
