Thousands of wings and much beer was consumed at Wingfest 2012 in New York's Center 548 yesterday. It was an awesome event that brought together 12 of New York's best wing restaurants competing for the coveted title of 2012 NYC Wingfest Champion. At the end of the day, BBQues Smoke Shack was declared the winne of the competition, with Rathbone's finished second.

BBQues Smoke Shack co-owner Joe Cutolo said of the win, “We’re ecstatic to win the title The Best Wings in New York. Thanks to my co-owner Stuart & GM Mike for such a great job. Amongst the competition we had, we’re honored to have won and look forward to defending our title next year at NYC Wingfest.” 

Other restaurants contributing delicious chicken wings included Duke's New York​, Hill Country Chicken​, Mason Jar​, Tribeca Tap House​, Wildwood BBQ​, East End Bar and Grill, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, and The Windsor.
