I can't decide which stereotype is more fun to make fun of: Rednecks or hipsters. They're both easy targets. One group whines about their favorite band "selling out" to a record label; another whines about their favorite NASCAR driver "selling out" to drive a Toyota. It's all kinda the same thing. Now that I live in New York, I get my kicks making fun of hipsters that suck in their PBR guts to fit into skinny jeans and brag about not owning televisions. But I grew up in an area filled with mulleted, Timberwolf-spitting rednecks kinda like this, so it making fun of white trash hicks who think and act like this comes all too easy. Welcome, friends, to the "Almost Politically Correct Redneck" meme.

The "Almost Politically Correct Redneck" meme was born this past weekend, when Redditor IanL27 posted an this image macro on Reddit. It spread quickly, taking on a life of his own. Almost Politically Correct Redneck sorta gets it when it comes to hot button social issues such as women's rights, LGBT marriage, immigration, etc. Yet no matter what, he always manages to miss the mark and delve back into his grossly offensive redneck ways a la Kenny Motherf*cking Powers. An enlightened man he is not. Regardless, it's damn amusing and probably the best meme to pop on our radar since Lawyer Dog nearly a month ago.
