Man Sets Guinness World Record with 41 Simpsons Tattoos

Lee Weir loved The Simpsons so much that his parents banned him from watching the show when he was a child. Well he’s all grown up now and can watch all The Simpsons he wants and can get all The Simpsons tattoos he wants too. The 27-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand got a large and visible revenge on his parents by setting the Guinness World Records title for “most tattoos of the same cartoon character tattooed on the body.” So he’s got that going for him. The cartoon enthusiast had an incredible 41 tattoos of Homer Simpson etched on his body. The colorful sleeve features various versions of Homer such as “Homer as a jack-in-the box, the Grim Reaper, in an elephant suit, as the Hulk, and even Homer as a donut.” But all of this amazingness came at a price because to afford all of this ink Weir gave up drinking beer for the last year to save up for his Simpsons tribute. No word on whether the brand of beer was Duff. Now we just have to hope that Weir doesn’t wake up one day and say, “D’oh!” because he regrets getting an entire sleeve of a cartoon character.
