There's a lot to stereotype in this map that shows where the bulk of each state's Craigslist Missed Connections take place. New York's are predominately on the subway. Wisconsin's are in a bar. A wide swath of the South's are in Wal-Mart. Las Vegas' and California's? Parodies of themselves—in a casino and a gym, respectively.

More than anything else, though, it shows that males are lonely. Men's missed connections outnumbered women's 86-14. Since, it should go without saying, these ads never work, here's a nice little kick in the balls: Make a move, guys!
