Our friend Matt Sullivan over at Esquire has a great article in the new October issue about learning how to drive a car. No, he's not a teenager. Matt's a 25-year-old Manhattan native who never needed to get his license. So when Matt wanted to finally learn, he didn't go to Tom's Driving School like me nor did he call up the local DMV. Instead, he did what most Esquire editors would do: fly to the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix to get a crash-course tutorial (hopefully without the crashing) on a $108,000 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, the fastest street-legal automobile GM ever produced. Reading Matt's article got us thinking about our driver's ed experience and wondering about all of yours. What's your craziest, funniest, or dumbest story from learning how to drive?
